In Love with Old Malaya - Pampas at Old Malaya

Pampas Steakhouse 位于一栋已有97年的马来亚殖民时代的建筑 名为Old Malaya，这英倫殖民格調餐廳與酒吧是英殖民时代遗留来的古典建筑。在吉隆坡Jalan Raja Chulan一带任然有许多英殖民时代留下的建筑物，某部分的建筑已经被翻新或申请文化保留建筑，但还是某些建筑还是被遗弃的。然而位于Jalan Raja Chulan 的 Old Malaya 建于1919年的百年建筑现今已被翻新成了餐廳與酒吧...也就是今天要介绍的Pampas Steakhouse 啦~

其实呢Pampas 也只是Old Malaya其中一家餐厅，Old Malaya聚集了几间不同特色的美食餐厅与Bars 。所以要看我下篇Po文哦~ 下篇Po 文呢我会介绍Pampas 的邻居 Manja, 我陆续都会整理 一系列 Old Malaya 的餐厅与Bars的Po文啦~

Pampas Steakhouse 分成三个Departments所以你可以依照自己的喜好来选择在哪个Department消费咯~


1919 Bar

KL Tower 就在后面而已啦~ 

19191 Bar 呢是个户外的 Casual Bar & Restaurant, 所以很适合像我和大Bii 这样的上班族在下班后或周末可以和朋友聚会喝啤酒吹水的好地方啦~ 星期五和星期六晚上真的很多人整个气氛就是很Happening来形容了...



  Kapitan Bar

来到这里就是一直调角度拍照尤其旁晚的时候拍超美的，特色就是它透明的天窗啦

Kapitan Bar 则是Indoor Bar啦, 从Kapitan Bar的透明式天窗望上去就可以看到大大的KL Tower了室内装潢都是走 Contemporary 风格，Ladies Night 一班姐妹聊天拍照打卡各式各样的cocktail和红酒就这里解决吧~

其实我个人觉得这家餐厅确实有点被大家underestimate，因为无论是从他装潢氛围到食物品质都是在档次上的，绝不输给Troika Strato, Green House by Mui 这些人气餐厅酒吧。反而这家餐厅建筑的背景已经赢了不少餐厅的特色。这建筑就是这家餐厅的特色，老板与合伙们为了不让百年文化遗产就这样被废弃，出了人际关系和一大笔经费来翻新这建筑更值得大家去消费以及欣赏这有着历史的餐厅。其实在Jalan Raja Chulan 很多隐藏及具特色的餐厅酒吧让大家去发掘的，周末假期Jio朋友一起去探索吧~

MyTown KL @ Arashi Shabu Shabu (My Review)

Yes, Arashi served Individual Hotpot, and you can choose one favorite soup from 10 different choices and you can choose one side dish, personally recommend Pumpkin Ramen~

I went there with my sayang and also Daph and Daph's bf joined us too. hehe XD
 Daph and Daph's bf ordered personal set, me and my sayang order two pax set....
Okayyy, to be franked, I think personal set is more worthy lah, because the quantity of vege is exactly same with the two pax set...BECOZ IMMA Vege Lover!
Except the vege, the quantity of the meat and other food for two pax set has more than doubled.... so steady okay?
 I do recommend those who haven't try this kind of shabu shabu~ If you budget is RM30, which you cannot afford pricey shabushabu like 春秋火锅 and you want a Fancy Fancy environment, You should go there to experience it.

Their interior is so Fancy~ 

Overall ambient and food was great and i loved their hong kong style chili sauce, sauces is unlimited refill, take as much as you want haha. As for their soups, Miso, Arashi hot& spicy milk are my personal preference. And their chawanmushi is not as good as I expected... lil bit disappointed. But anyway their ingredients is good. The food were served efficiently, so fast so good. I love their fancy interior, NAISS lighting.

Dinner at S.WINE Publika Solaris Dutamas

If you enjoy 'porky dishes' , this restaurant never disappoint you ! S.WINE is all about ''Porky Dishes". Dining on a Saturday night with the pwetty ladies and handsomes. 
Was my very first try at S.WINE.
Great service and awesome environment here. It's dim but the yellow lights makes it romantic.
This restaurant is located in a corner inside the B.I.G Publika. 

The menu ... 

Really confused when we looked at the menu... we have no idea what to eat! I want to try everything on the menu. So we asked for the suggestion from the waiter.

After 15 to 20 mins.... Foods arrived~

Lemongrass Grilled Pork Chop With Dried Egg On Rice This plate was recommended by the waiter. The pork very juicy and the soup just so fine. Rate 8/10

Spicy Bacon & Mushroom

Me and Daph ordered this dish~  slightly salty.. overall is okay. Rate 6/10 

Well... I don't remember the name of this dish..but I love the chili sauce! Spicy~ 8/10

Pigs in blanket is a must! Highly recommended by peoples~ Well, It does satisfied our appetite.

Rate 9/10

Overall, the foods are just fine and is kinda pricey. Will I be back to this place? Oh well..Once in awhile is okay lah hehe =) 

Fyi, a lil tough to find this place if you ever been there b'fore, but just walk to the alcohol area and u will find it.

Food Trip with Girls- A Pie Thing @ Damansara Uptown, PJ

How life's? Hope everything goes well =)

Last Friday, an awesome food trip with my girls!

So, this post I will be sharing about one of the places we went. A Pie Thing at Damansara Uptown.

We reached there around 8pm and we can't even find a parking! We spent almost 15 mins just to go round and round the store searching for parking. Luckily, we found parking just aside the shop.
I love the interior design of this shop simple yet trendy and good for groups. Oh yea, for those prefer late night yamcha, this place would be your idea place.

Really good pies and the best pie in town (for me xD), you guys definitely should go for their Mashacre with a lovely soda. I personally recommend The Mashacre for those who very hungry.  

We ordered the popular pies in the shop.

     1. Cheesy Chicken The Mashacre was good with mash, peas and gravy + Soda Old Gnger Ale =RM19.90

      2. S'mores Pie with chocolate layer topped with Roasted Marshmallow(I'm a super fan of roasted marshmallow) Not too sweet and I love the shortcrust pastry ! =RM9.90

       3. Nutella Pie with Ice-cream is just taste so fine.*Slurp Slurp* RM11.90

 Overall,it was a great night with my girls at here, we had a great talks and took lotz of pic. Speed of wifi is okay~ Their pies are fine and worth every penny tho a lil bit pricey which I suggest should go with groups or family so you can share different pies and the cost. Do go there earlier or late night if you don't want to get caught in the sibeh long queue especially meal time and weekends. 

Definitely will visit again! I'm started to miss their pies now~
